Privacy Policy

We built Petwidge to feel personal without requiring an account, ads, or behavioral tracking.

Effective April 24, 2026

Short version: Petwidge 1.0 does not require an account, does not include ads, and does not include third-party analytics SDKs.

When you generate a pixel pet, your selected pet photo is sent through our secure proxy to an AI image service so the app can create the pixel-art result. Saved pets and widget settings live on your device.

Information you provide

When you use Petwidge, you may provide:

Pet photos selected from your camera or photo library.
Pet names and saved pet preferences.
Support emails you choose to send us.

How pet generation works

When you tap to generate a pet, the selected photo is transmitted to Petwidge's backend proxy, which forwards the request to an AI image provider. The generated pixel pet is returned to the app.

Our backend proxy is used to protect API credentials and operate the generation flow. Service providers may process operational logs for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and debugging.

What stays on your device

Saved pixel pets.
Pet names and active pet selection.
Widget, Lock Screen, and Dynamic Island configuration.

Third-party services

Petwidge may use third-party infrastructure and AI services, including cloud hosting, AI image generation, and Apple's iOS platform services. These providers process data only as needed to provide the app experience, security, and reliability.

Accounts, ads, and tracking

Petwidge 1.0 has no user accounts, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

Petwidge is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will review it.

Your choices

You can choose not to upload a photo.
You can delete saved pets inside the app.
You can delete Petwidge from your device to remove local app data.
You can contact us about privacy questions or deletion requests.
